Hettich KA 5740 Pocket Door System

Overview

The Hettich KA 5740 is a special sliding fitting from Hettich India's Sliding Door Solutions range, designed for pocket door applications where a shutter slides fully into a wall cavity rather than sliding along the wall face. It is built to carry an 8 kg load per shutter and is sold as a channel set with a matching accessory kit.

What It Does

KA 5740 provides the running channel and track mechanism that lets a door shutter glide smoothly into a pocket (concealed) opening. It is intended for wardrobes, room partitions, and cabinetry where a flush, space-saving sliding door is preferred over a hinged or standard sliding door.

Who It Helps

• Furniture manufacturers and modular kitchen/wardrobe fabricators specifying sliding hardware
• Interior designers and architects planning pocket door layouts for space-constrained rooms
• Carpenters and contractors sourcing sliding door channels for client projects
• Homeowners renovating wardrobes or room dividers who want a hidden sliding door mechanism
